Seviora Holdings, the primary asset management platform of Temasek, has set out plans to merge three of its wholly owned subsidiaries into a single operational entity, consolidating Azalea Investment Management, SeaTown Holdings International and Seviora Capital.

Structure and Timing

The transaction is scheduled to take effect on 1 January 2027, subject to regulatory clearances and necessary approvals. Once completed, the combined business will operate under a single operating model and adopt the Seviora name. An evaluation of the group's branding is currently underway.

Seviora was established by Temasek in 2020 to bring its multi-asset and multi-strategy investment businesses together within a single corporate structure.

Not everything inside the group is being folded in. Fullerton Fund Management and InnoVen Capital will not be included in the consolidation and are to remain separate legal entities within the wider group.

Leadership and Divisions

The reorganisation comes with a defined leadership line-up. Gabriel Lim will remain CEO of Seviora following the reorganisation, alongside Yeo Hong Ping as chief operating officer. Current Azalea CEO Chue En Yaw will take charge of Seviora's global fund solutions business, while Patrick Pang, currently CEO of SeaTown, will lead the private capital division.

Rationale

The consolidation aims to combine the operational resources and functions of the three businesses, creating a unified platform for clients, partners and staff while pursuing growth opportunities. In the company's framing, the move is about shared capability rather than simple scale. Seviora CEO Gabriel Lim said: "Since Seviora was established in 2020, our AMCs have progressively built shared capabilities across areas such as sustainability, technology, human resources, and sales and distribution."

Lim described the step as a natural progression: "Coming together as a single platform is the natural next step – one that gives clients easier access, through a single relationship, to the breadth of our investment capabilities and allows us to invest more in our people, research and technology."

He added that the change is "an important milestone in the evolution of our Group and reinforces our ambition to be a leading capital gateway between Asia and the world."

What This Signals

For advisers, family offices and private clients working with Temasek-linked vehicles, the practical change to watch is the move to a single relationship covering the breadth of the group's investment capabilities, with the integration framed around easier client access and deeper investment in research and technology. The timeline gives counterparties and regulators until the start of 2027 to prepare, and the retention of Fullerton Fund Management and InnoVen Capital as separate legal entities means the group's perimeter will remain differentiated even after the three units combine.
