1. Ownership and record-specific rights
The creator or other rights holder retains ownership of submitted images, text and other protected content. A sale of a physical artwork does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights, merchandising rights or a licence to create derivative works unless the rights holder expressly grants those rights in a separate written agreement.
Materials accessible through RELICT may be subject to different rights, including artist permissions, third-party licences or public-domain status. Consult the rights and source information applicable to the particular record. Availability on the Platform or through an API is not a blanket permission for commercial reuse, and RELICT does not guarantee a contributor's rights claim.
2. Permission granted by contributors
When you submit content, you grant RELICT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, resize, display, communicate and distribute that content as reasonably needed to provide and promote the Platform, display the relevant profile or listing, deliver authorized API features and maintain transaction and rights records. You permit RELICT to use service providers for those purposes and to provide the end-user access expressly allowed by the applicable record or product licence.
This permission does not transfer your copyright, authorize RELICT to sell the physical artwork on your behalf or permit unrelated commercial exploitation of your content. Formatting must not deliberately misrepresent your work. Any broader grant requires a separate agreement. You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to make this grant and to submit any identifiable person's information included in your content.
The Artist Agreement's exclusive listing obligation concerns the sale listing for a specific work. It does not convert this content licence into an exclusive copyright licence.
3. Withdrawal and retained records
You may request removal of content you supplied, subject to an existing sale, lawful record-retention obligations and permissions already exercised under an applicable licence. RELICT may keep a limited copy for transaction evidence, security, legal compliance, disputes and backup retention, rather than continuing ordinary public promotion after an effective removal request. Copies already lawfully received by third parties may be governed by the terms applicable when supplied.
4. Permitted visitor and API use
You may view materials and use authorized Platform functions for their intended purposes. Further reproduction, publication, redistribution or commercial use requires the relevant rights or a licence that permits that use. Observe attribution, source links and licence notices where required. Do not remove rights information, claim another person's work as yours or use the Platform to collect material in breach of access restrictions.
An API entitlement governs technical access and quota. It does not independently override a third-party image licence, personal-data restriction or contributor's copyright. Public-domain and open-licence rights remain governed by their actual legal status and applicable licence rather than a blanket claim of RELICT ownership.
5. Complaints
Report stolen images or other rights concerns to info@relict.cloud with the material's location and the basis of your claim. The Terms of Use §5 notice-and-takedown procedure applies, including prompt removal or disabling of identified material on a sufficiently specific notice and processing of a legally sufficient counter-notice where applicable. RELICT may terminate repeat infringers and remove material under its account and listing rules.
