Constellation Wealth Takes Minority Stake in Confluence Financial
Constellation Wealth Capital acquires a minority stake in Confluence Financial Partners, backing the wealth manager's expansion while preserving its management and client relationships.

Constellation Wealth Capital (CWC), an alternative asset management firm, has agreed to take a minority holding in Confluence Financial Partners, adding capital and support for the wealth manager's future expansion.
Confluence, an independent wealth management business, oversees about $7.6bn in assets under management, alongside a further $400m in 401(k) plan assets, based on figures as of 18 August 2026.
The firm offers financial planning and investment management to private clients, families, companies and institutional investors, operating from five locations in Pennsylvania and Florida: Pittsburgh, McMurray, Sewickley and Grove City in Pennsylvania, and Bonita Springs in Florida.
Confluence Financial Partners CEO and co-founder Greg Weimer said: "We have ambitious plans for our future, but growth alone has never been the goal. We want to continue building a successful firm, one that strives to provide high-quality financial advice to clients, creates meaningful opportunities for our people and gives advisors the resources and support needed to serve clients effectively. We believe Constellation is the right partner to help us do that."
Control of Confluence will remain with the current management team, which will continue to run the business. The transaction is intended to provide further scope for such investment and to back selected growth plans.
The deal is not expected to alter Confluence's client relationships, with its advisers, management and existing approach to financial planning and investment management remaining in place.
CWC specialises in investments in wealth management companies. Constellation Wealth Capital founder and managing partner Karl Heckenberg commented: "We are thrilled to partner with the Confluence team."
The minority investment underscores a trend of private capital flowing into independent wealth management firms, with Confluence's management retaining control and client relationships remaining stable.
