EFG International names Ranjit Khanna CEO of Dubai Advisory Office
EFG International appoints Ranjit Khanna as CEO of its Dubai Advisory Office, effective immediately. He will oversee the office's next phase of development, reporting to regional heads.

EFG International has appointed Ranjit Khanna as CEO of its Dubai Advisory Office, effective immediately, signaling a strategic move to deepen its operations in the Dubai International Financial Centre and across the UAE.
Khanna steps into the role as the bank continues to expand its Middle East presence. Working under Soha Nashaat, executive chairwoman of EFG International Middle East, he will be responsible for the office's operations in line with the company's plans for the UAE and its wider regional framework.
He will report to Patrick Ramsey, head of Continental Europe and Middle East. Both Nashaat and Ramsey welcomed Khanna's appointment, citing his regional experience and leadership capabilities as key assets for the bank's strategic priorities in the region.
Khanna joins from Bank of Singapore, where he served as DIFC chief executive and ran the private banking business for clients in the Middle East, Europe, and Global South Asia. With more than 30 years in international private banking, he has held senior posts at Swiss and other global financial institutions across Asia and the Middle East.
A Singaporean citizen, Khanna began his banking career in New York. The Dubai Advisory Office, opened in 2019, has since grown to a workforce of more than 60, serving private banking clients across the region.
The appointment underscores EFG's commitment to its Middle East hub as a central part of its long-term strategy.
The move reflects EFG's broader efforts to strengthen leadership in key markets. As the Dubai operation is one of the group's main regional centres, Khanna's mandate is to drive the next phase of development, enhancing client relationships and expanding capabilities.
Khanna's deep regional knowledge and track record position him to execute the bank's strategic priorities in the UAE and beyond. His appointment is effective immediately, with immediate oversight of the office's operations.
